Eh, if it wouldn't have had that damage, I would have jumped on it, even if you would have charged more money. But I know I would never actually bother to get it fixed, and that would drive me crazy, but not enough to get it fixed.

So I finally got my tijin trunk all done. Took me a few weeks. For they need a decent amount of prep work. The taillight holes had to be lined up and drilled. The latch had to be installed. For that I had to lay two layers of carbon fiber and resin. I didn't do a fancy job on that part for none of it will be seen. The trunk carpet will hide all of it anyways. I had to drill the holes for that to be attached as well along with the holes for the wire tabs to push into. I also didn't like how they had the third brake light set up. So I had to modify a third brake lense and also smooth out and open up the opening for the third light to sit snug and flush. I got a second hand lense and it is actually epoxied into the trunk. It was the best way to make it work and not leak. Well all said and done then I waxed it with a high end wax. Here's some pics. Now I just have installation of it to the car.

Hey guys. New guy here from Port Washington Wi. Love This thread. Anyways, I just bought my cobalt a week ago and it already has a few mods. I just installed smoked LED taillights as well as some Halo headlights. Next to come are my Motegi FF7's. Need to get adapters though in order to get them to fit. Have so many plans for this car. Really loving the Supercharged life!

ya the tjin trunk install was @#$@#$# stupid. I was kind of upset it was that much work...Mine rubs on the body under the 2 little winglets. looks 2#$@#$ awesome though. I need to find the water leak....otherwise it is schweet ness.

Thank Parnell. Yeah I was very disappointed with how much prep work was needed. Yeah I'm so ocd with stuff that mine does not rub and everything is flush and sits perfectly. I have to re set my third tail light thou. I honestly think they should have deleted the third light and we should have just done a different third light.

At least the lock is deleted. Mine is okay fitment wise, I have one from the first batch. Mmm did you use spacers? I did and if I didn't it would fit great but then rub more. I will probably have to sand some from under the wings.

Ya f it. Looks good and is unique though.

Put the hood on yet? Been thinking of getting cf stock hood. But not sure how much money I wanna drop on the SS with an rs on order :/

No I didn't use any spacers. And I don't have any rub issues. Got lucky I guess.
Yes I have the hood on but I need to make an adjustment on it that I noticed this afternoon.
