Ok
Ok well I'm not looking for a ton of power out of my car but I'm wondering options wise I'm stuck between zip stage 2 with 3.0 pulley and and intense racing kit and gmst2 kit any input on reliability of these kits and how good the tunes are i already have an injen intake and a full slp loudmouth exhaust

Don't forget donkeyballs, got my wheels and turbo stuff from him and venom totaled his turbo LSJ and I got parts from him.
I'm talking just car meets not cobalt specific. I've went to a redline one just because it was a 10 minute drive. Others drove up from hours away.

Nice. I'm very tempted to get an SS as I wanted one for a while and the value has well, decreased sharply :p. The focus is better in nearly every way than my 06 LS was lol. Comfy but somewhat sporty ride, decent power and responds well to bolt ons. The "automatic" transmission is a little worrisome but eh, I like the way it goes.

Just get an SS. Somehow my 04 Ion Redline had managed to only pick up an intake and downpipe over the years. As well as some tint and eibach sportlines, which I may add are absolute crap. I fixed everything that was wrong and still modded to the same extent with no issues.

Andrew I might take you up on borrowing that HPT this spring/ summer... I think I might get retuned and squeeze some more power out of the tvs... maybe even drop a pulley size bc I have a 2.6 at home

I use to live in op. Wonder if I knew of him. Never saw that one tho. And I saw the red one in August. If your cobalt is in the background of the pics of your redline then yours is the wrong shade of red.

Andrew are you going to this event? I actually work in corporate security for Xerox in Webster and just saw we got an email letting us know the event would be on our site that day. I work a night shift and get out at 6am that morning but might stick around or come back that afternoon

so street survival is just a course for everyday drivers to like learn defensive driving tips and crap??? thats super lame, but i can honestly say im not surprised bc i was SHOCKED to hear they were hosting an actual autocross event. Xerox is super **** about liability. Just this year we outlawed the West Webster fire dept from setting up cones and doing fire truck driver training in our lots...
