dude i would wheel and deal with those guys. tell them that you have a guy that'll do all the work necessary and paint it for $500. if they can match it, they have your business.

its because of greed they are afraid to run out of work so they over book and over charge.
they tie people up with hopes of when it MAY be done. When I use to take my truck to get worked on I made the give me a set time in writing or money off the bill for every day I had to rent a truck for work .Only the great shops will do that and we have 1 local shop here that does unless it is help up for parts ordered

My main thing in all honesty. I'm about as lazy as they come. I really don't feel like doing the traveling, plus then I have to go pick up the parts from the shop and i already commited to them.

I saw your paint on the bumper and it looked great no doubt, hell your whole car itself looks great in person. I know that their timing sucks but the work is top notch for sure. When my girlfriend wrecked her focus, they did a great job on that and even replaced some parts that were missing on it when she got it.

If you were located in Dover or somewhere around there, I would have sent them too you like yesterday lol. I did a google maps search and it's almost a 2 hour trip 1 way for getting the parts too ya. I do trust your work no doubt so thats not even a concern. Later down the road I might talk to you about getting my whole car repainted.

I want to get into schooling for doing autobody so that I can start doing this stuff myself instead of having to get someone else too do it lol.

Thanks guys!

They're really isnt a custom shop in the close DE area since Car V2 closed. Exotic Customs is allllllllll the way in west chester and Kamber Koncepts in Elkton doesn't even have a business lisence...you guys could have a gold mine on your hands. Plus if you combine that with a performance shop **** you'd be set!

Yeah really that would be a big hit for sure.

I am kind of thinkin about a color change on my car at some point anyway. Not exactly sure what color I want yet but I want something slightly different. I know there was a member on j-body.org that used a toyota color on his cav called catalina blue which looks really nice. but I feel that I would be imposing on their color then. Another color I was thinkin of is blitz blue from the release series tC.

Catalina Blue

Blitz blue

Yeah I am kinda feeling the Catalina blue, it's a "safe" color that would hide alot of imperfections like scratches and what not.

Powerz What would you charge to spray my whole car in catalina blue?
