HEY!!!! ITS NOT THE SIZE THAT MATTERS! lol

I love the HHR SS. Infact Even tho I like the cobalt more, the HHR is wayy more practical and the SS/TC version would have been perfect for me....

the Turbo'ed SS looks good. If I didnt already have a highly modified cobalt SS/SC I might have looked into one. I think I am going to hold on to the SS/SC for another year or 2. Then Ill probably buy a hybrid since gas prices will be $6.00+

Once I get my 2.6 in and 60's w/ a tune, I should be arround 300 WHP

Thats all I need for a daily driver. Maybe Ill buy a pair of steelies and run a 12.5

yea...good luck with that 300whp....... trust me i've tried. make sure you have all your cooling mods, definately a good meth kit. and then i'd highly recommend going with the JBP Stage 2 cylinder head kit. you'll definately hit that 300whp mark.

Well I am 275 now, so I dont think I will be too far off from 300 after adding 2.6 from a 2.8, 60'lb'ers instead of 42'lb'ers and a real tune

I don't even have a SC and know that.

If you are going lower than 2.8 meth is a must.

Why? did you read my mods? Also 13.4 @ 111 on STREET TIRES kinda shows my car appears to be faster then the norm. I've been known arround these forums as "the factory freak" as when we had a dyno day and like 10 of us went up and got dyno'ed, I had the least mods, but pulled the highest HP/TQ #'s. You can see my 250 HP dyno w/ just an exaust in my sig w/ linky.

I cant help it if my car is beastish

Well I know I am going to get a heat exchanger. Is a meth kit really a must? Why @ 2.6 is it a must?

depends on the dyno your going on what your # will be.I dyno here on a dynojet at a local shop 295hp but on the mustang dyno I am only 262hp.both of thoses were with no heat exchanger cooling at all,my he pump had quit working and I had no idea, now I have a higher gpm pump plus cobra h/e (thanks matt) would love to see what it does now at tunetime

I tried to set up a time to test drive th cobalt ss sc dealer says it will be bought from the showroom floor no test drives it make to much hp IN A FWD CAR for them to let someone just drive it.LOL

yes, meth is definately a must with anything lower than a 2.8.......TRUST ME!!!!! your car will go boom sooner or later. with the 2.6 your supercharger will be spinning at an extremely high rate of speed, causing tons of heat and pushing hot air into your engine which isn't good at all. with the meth kit spraying it will cool down the intake air temps and save your engine. it also provides a higher octane and allows for the tuner to run more advance timing.

p.s. definately get a heat exchanger!!!

USING A 2.6 the s/c makes so much heat it make you lose hp.I dont think its a must as long as it gets all other cooling mods .the first you should get is the extra h/e then the higher gpm pump then then dual pass with out the higher pump dual pass does nothing.I know alot dont agree with me on that. but its a proven fact on the dyno.
this is the pump to get
