Only thing about when you go do your recall. Hawthorne is gonna do an inspection and try to get more work. They wanted to replace my front, pads and rotors for $600+. I laughed at the service tech said no thanks just have the tech finish the recall. I did need new brakes though so they weren't making it up, just like all dealers charge way too much. Did it the next weekend myself for a fraction of the cost. If you ever need help working on your car just shoot me a pm I'd be glad to help since you are so close.

I have a few things to get installed on my car, and the kid that used to do the work for me moved to Michigan. Just wondering if some of you want to make some extra cash. I have to install the HID projectors and foglights, and also 5 gauges, I already have the gauges, the dual cluster pod and the zzp triple pillar pod

or you can wait until the next time I'm back in jersey and can do it at my old house in the garage. Ive done work for a few members on here and dont charge a dime seriously, just glad to help. I've wired up gauges for grok25 and cobaltss16, installed rotated trans mounts for polishpaul. I installed hids on my car but took them off a few months ago, cop pulled me over bc he thought my brights were on and yes I did have them angled properly. Feel free to pm me and I'll give you my number.

Could of helped you out these past few weeks, but this is my last week in jersey, starting my new job in ct on Monday. If you want come up to Hamden, CT (1hr from the tappan zee bridge) and I'll give you a hand sometime after this holiday weekend. Weather has got to be good though bc I don't have a garage in CT or you can wait until the next time I'm back in jersey and can do it at my old house in the garage. Not in a rush, I've been having these parts for many months. I can wait. You can just pm me about when you will be here next time and eventually how much you are looking to make and let's see if I can afford it, because after this I will have other things to get done (I have another LNF) so if your looking for a fare pay, I'll be glad to start "using" you for both my cars.

btw im still down for a meet one of these months or years! We used to cruise to edgewater every thursday with like 10 cobalts - good old days. even had a dude shooting out fireworks out his moonroof one time lmao

That was a loooong time ago. Do the meets still go on at Edgewater or are the cops still a pain?

Anyone else remember the night that girl was getting naked on top of the civic and a huge crowd formed... there used to be videos online, must have been 4 years ago at least.

Unfortunantly, I think that night was the downfall of that meet. Cops stormed in and literally blocked all the exits. I was there for a while since they didnt let anyone out. I think that girl was under 18 and drunk

That night hurt, but the nail in the coffin was when the cops tried to pull over some ricer in a Honda... he slams on the gas and goes flying out the lot onto River Road via the entrance ramp, the cops never caught him. Nothing the cops hate like having someone escape them, that's when they really put the lid on Edgewater Thursdays.

Looks like after almost 8 years my time with the Cobalt is coming to a close. I'm going to hold on to it for one last summer then come the fall/winter I'll be moving on. It's been a wild ride. About 95,000 miles on it right now. Will easily break 100k by the end of summer. So many memories. I got her right after high school and went through a lot of good times over the years.

Looks like after almost 8 years my time with the Cobalt is coming to a close. I'm going to hold on to it for one last summer then come the fall/winter I'll be moving on. It's been a wild ride. About 95,000 miles on it right now. Will easily break 100k by the end of summer. So many memories. I got her right after high school and went through a lot of good times over the years.
I'm curious to know who else still has theirs from back in the day, lol. I'm sure there's only a few of us left...

It really burns me that I'm going to have to sell or trade in mine and get peanuts for it. MSRP was almost $25,000 when I bought it new. It's a shame that even though I've taken pristine care of it, people still ask me if it's a "new" car when they first get in it, I don't expect to get much more than $5k for it if I'm lucky.

mine is long gone P sold it after being out of work for almost a year. Kid who bought it live in Upstate NY and blew the engine withing 2 months of owning it. He replaced it then totaled it ;( i want my car back.
