Our normal rate for dyno pulls is $150 for 3 pulls. For dyno days, that
would drop to $100 for 3 pulls and we'd need a minimum of 10 people for the
discount.

If anyone is down let me know, would like to set up a day for all of us to go and chill. and get a better deal for a dyno

Dayum son! That's kinda pricy... We've usually gotten 3 pulls for $60 at Debaise Bros or TurboKits.com....

Debaise Bros has definitely my new go-to place. Really good guys there and the rates are very fair.

Well if you were stock I wanted to run with my moms Hyundai. I'm really curious to see the outcome because her 2.0T goes pretty damn good.

But I'm sure I'll need more than that to keep up so you can run my 2000 buick Regal, home made turbo kit on 8psi.

No idea what it makes for power but it's on 93 octane and 8psi. Trying to keep the trans together before the 6spd swap goes in.

lol.. that wasn't quite what I had in mind but I'll still run just for the hell of it. I care to share some more info on the turbo and tires you're running?

Were you at the Debaise bros meet in the spring by any chance? The car looks very familiar. You didn't also used to go by another name on here a while back did you? Was it Slow Sho by any chance?

I was there and I believe this car was there as well, lol
It's a comp 6765, all seasons on the front right now.

I'm not sure how fast it is at all, I have literally raced 2 cars with wildly varying results lol. But it has a nice tune on it and for 8psi she seems to get up pretty good.

Don't tell me you were just looking to puppy kick a stock Hyundai lol

Jebus kid. You're going to stomp me with a comp 6765 on a 3800 series. I haven't seen a compressor map for that specific turbo, but I'm sure even at 8psi you'll still be flowing more air than my little stocker at 24psi. I'll still run just for haha's but I'm not even going to contest the fact that you're going to romp my ass. My only saving gace MIGHT be traction (or your lack there of), but that's about it.. lol

Oh and yes I was looking forward to just "puppy kick a stock Hyundai" to be quite honest.. lol

I really thought that you were a punk kid just looking to call out a "piece of ****" cobalt because mommy has a turbo car that was the fastest thing on the road as far as you were concerned. Kinda like alot of the lnf kids on here tend to think when they run their mouths to say.. ohhhh.... I don't know.. a GTO or a sleeper Regal

The car scene, especially in this area, has gone downhill tremendously. So I don't blame you at all for thinking I was just another idiot who thinks Mom's car is fast, lol. While I do think it moves pretty good, and should at least hang with a stock SS/TC, it's far from fast in the big picture. Ive dealt with more than a couple of those kinds of people.

But don't sell yourself short. My Regal is 3500+lbs and has the worst gearing EVER. Once I have the 6spd in there (which is also a 150# weight reduction!) I'll be able to crank the boost and maybe run some big single supras from a 40 roll, lol. Until then though, I'm staying at 8psi in hopes of saving my transmission guts from looking like spinach.

Haha.. yeah unfortunately I still say you're going to hand my ass to me, but I'm down for a few runs against ya regardless. Just don't pull up with some freakin DRs on the front of that thing so I at least have SOME sort of a chance! Lol

Just out of curiousity, (and be honest with me here.. we aren't racing for money )how much air are your logs showing that you're currently moving over the maf at 8psi? I still say that you have to be moving a solid 36-40lbs/min easy with that thing.

So seriously, when did you have in mind that you might want to meet up?

I'd like to meet up to but won't be back to CT until the day after thanksgiving. I'm on my winter tires and steelies right now so I'm not getting much traction but still would like to join in on the fun.

Well the car has the same MAF sensor as my GTO, 85mm. I'm not sure what it is in lbs/min but it's maxed out at 11,500hz above 6k rpm. Since I'm only on 8psi I can have the MAP sensor take over above that, but eventually I'll need an AFC if I want to run over 15psi since the MAP sensor will only recognize 14.7psi.

So yeah, I really have no idea how fast it is lol

As for when, maybe we can get a few people out tomorrow night. I'm talking with SRZ (Red G8) and a few others to see who's around.

Ok yeah I'm pretty much done then.. lol That puts you in the ball park of 46-50lbs/min for that maf so yeah I'm bowing out.. haha.. Like I said, I'll still run but I fully expect to lose. That maf SHOULD be good for up to around 12,000hz before it fails so you should be able to squeeze a bit more out of it, but from the sound of things you'll be long past that mark with ease.

I should add that the motor has a ported intake manifold and I spec'd out a custom turbo cam as well :-p
I'm aiming for 650whp on ethanol with the 6spd.

But in all honesty on such low boost and 93 octane you might have the edge being so might lighter with better gearing. I can't see this car making more than 400whp as it sits. But there's only 1 way to find out!

I have some people interested in getting together on Tuesday night. That'll give us enough time to possibly find a bone stock SS/TC to run my moms car too!

I know a guy with just the GM stage 1 on his turbo Balt, but how will you bring both cars out lol.

Sounds like John is gonna blow a load over your air flow numbers lmao.
