If you have an 07+ 2.4 do not go above 280 whp. In 2007 GM switched to a weaker rod material. Very similiar to a stock l61 material/casting process. 2005-2006 they used the same rod.material as lsj's

I'm an 07 2.4. So far my car has handled the turbo kit extremely well. Ask Cody lol. My car runs better then his does Just waiting to put my clutch in, gauges, and then get it dyno tuned.

Just be very careful. When oldskool and myself were doing research on the LE5 bottom end swap in J's we had heard rumors of this and never found anything solid. Until he and I both did the swap and found his 2006 LE5 had COMPLETELY different rods ten my 2007 LE5. Luckily our close friend had 2 or 3 LSJ bottom ends on hand and sent us pics. His LSJ bottom ends very closely resembled the 2006 and my L61 old motor resembled my 2007 LE5. Once we dug deeper and tapped my source at a local GM dealership (close friend is service manager) he did some research and found 2 different part numbers pertaining to rod and rod bearings for the LE5 with cutoff year of 2006 and different part numbers for 2007+. From what we found the 2007+ LE5 could handle a respectable 300 whp before letting go. Of course this was on a very good tune. Just keep it reasonable. There may be a 2007.5 year change, we don't know, what we do know is that definitely a change occurred in 2007

There's actually quite a few of us, we were all going to meet up (everyone from where we are, Bethlehem, Quakertown, Allentown, etc.) and then do a nice cruise to Harrisburg.
Since it's going to be cold out, we figured a nice long cruise together and then get some grub
and I'm 19 Seden

I'll be 21 by the time of the meet Seden.
So far I think I've made out nicely with the bottom end of my car. Like I said, I haven't had any problems with anything. I have a check engine light on for multiple random misfires but I think that's from the shitty Autolite plugs ZZP gave me. I think I have to go 1 step colder.
