Rig-Pro Rolling Shots by LJ Photography Free Offer
So I have decided to join this event and do free rolling shots with my rig setup on a few of the cobalt guys. This is a free offer and well worth the cruise alone. I plan on being out there early to get starting on shooting. Please take a peak at the link below and join in if you feel like coming.
Saturday, February 16, 2013. 5:00pm.
Space 89, 4600 Jonestown Road, Colonial Park, Pennsylvania 17109
A few of us from the Lehigh/Bucks and surrounding areas are taking a cruise to Buffalo Wild Wings in Harrisburg.
We're still coordinating a place to meet before the cruise as well as the route we're taking. It will be posted.

Sample shots of the rig and the images it can produce.

Where did you get your rig from? I'd like to try getting into this but I'm not sure how much these components cost and what is good. I'd take you up on your offer to cruise down but I'm a little more than 2000 miles away from you.

Someone is going to have a rig at CED then cause I am most likely not going to that event.
This is just a cruise with me doing all the rig shots.
Rig-Pro and the rig was 1k for this setup.

Yeah you can easily make a decent kit for half the cost. I bought this more for a piece of mind for the customer and me. See its all about safety when you attach something like this to some ones car.
I would say you can piece something together for around 500. The clamps, manfrotto arm, and avenger suction cups which I would never attach to a ride are around 300. Then you just need to get the boom made which is a few pieces of piping or electric conduit if you choose to go that way.
Car Magic I believe has the CF Boom and that's 1k alone for just that so a hole kit is around 1.3k
For me thought its about safety and attaching a home made rig to a nice 80k up car is just not something I would do. Cant begin to count the horror stories I have read online from the rigshoot group.

So I am getting a ton of request and asking me if I can shoot peoples car and if they should come out. I want everyone to understand that this is definitely not going to happen, please don't come to the meet and expect that I can shoot your car. Should you come out to hang out with a good group of guys, of course. I am only going to pick a few select cars to do. Some in the Garage in the morning where light is not optimal outside for this type of shooting, 1 during Magic hour at Sundown, And 1-2 At night time. I also want to do a group shot as well. If it was as easy as just attaching the rig and shooting sure it could be done but I can guarantee the results will look like crap if I do things that way. And its really not that simple. Shot like these take time to setup each time. Unfortunately I am a perfectionist so I don't do work like this. GREAT photography is about stacking GOODS...
good light...
good location...
good subject...
good equipment...
good composition...
good technique...
when you stack these many goods, the result will be GREAT
if you take a few out, rush work, it will only be GOOD
This also means taking my time on each one I do to get the best possible results. With all this being said this is more of a meet to get Cobalt Guys together and for everyone to hang out with FMSR. I hope everyone can understand this. I will be at this location at around 11am. I hope a few can make it out so I can pick a few to do in the garage. The address is:25 East Main Street Harrisburg, PA 17055
