Customer Service and Order Problems
Order Numbers: 9828 (8/1/2016), 9840 (8/4/2016)
My first order (9828) was placed on 8/1/2016. It arrived really fast. However upon receiving it I realized I had accidentally ordered the M62 2.8 Individual Pulley instead of the M62 2.8 pulley for the gm stage 2 hub. I contacted OTTP through their facebook page. They told me to, "go ahead and ship it back with your order number on a piece of paper in the box." I had asked if it would be quicker for me to go ahead and order the correct pulley and make a new order and get a refund for the first order instead of waiting around to do an exchange. I was told that, "it would be faster for sure." I placed the new order as soon as they told me that. Order (9840) He replied with "got the order we will get it shipped asap." Sounded very promising that everything was going to get taken care of.

I had tried to contact them again on facebook asking if there was any updates on my order and wondering when I was going to get my refund for the first order since it had made it back to them. I didn't get any response so I sent an email but didn't get any response in email either.

I sent another facebook message asking if they have any updates yet. I did get a response to this one. The response was, "sorry about the delay I will get your refund processed tonight."

I sent another facebook message because I was irritated that it had almost been a month since my order and absolutely nothing has been done.
I got a reply that said, "I will go light a fire and see what I can find out."
I never found out anything at all.....

I still don't have a refund from my first order and I still don't have my pulley from the second order.

The first order shipped fast because it came from here. The new pulley is drop shipped and I am trying to get a tracking number for you. As soon as I have it I will forward it to you.
Sorry about the refund being late, I forgot to take care of it. It was sent this morning though.

All these complaints will eventually kill this platform. I've dealt with Josh twice and both times he shipped my items very quick. Not saying he's not wrong at times, but I'd hate to lose support for the platform because all we hear are the bad things he does. At least he has a website to place orders unlike others.

I think he's saying people only speak up when there's a problem....and that goes for every vendor. Almost no one posts when they have a good experience.
As for killing the platform if a vendor left. Simple economics tells me that pricing would go up with limited competition and perceived higher demand at their store.

I bought from you because a friend had talked about how good you were and ZZP was out of stock of an item and I didn't feel like waiting. Surprise! It is back in stock with them and I'm still waiting from you. I bought from you because of a good review and ended up getting an awful first time experience. That isn't how you keep customers.
Prices might increase sure but that isn't killing a platform. I built a Z31, a chassis with pretty much no aftermarket. If there is a will there is a way.

These threads are getting pretty common.
I was interested in some mounts mainly because of the price. But threads like this are popping up weekly, almost daily.
Any explanation to why it's happening?

UPDATE: 8/26/2016
- I woke up this morning to a facebook message from OTTP saying that the refund was sent this morning. I checked paypal and I did receive a partial refund of $34.00. I paid $44.15 including shipping and then I paid to have the pulley sent back. I'm glad I atleast got that out of the way and after all this trouble some of the money back.
- I contacted Smoothflow Pulleys via email asking if they had any information at all on a order for a pulley in my name that OTTP had placed. They responded first thing this morning and told me that the order just came through on 8/22/2016.
Hoping everything goes well
