They can't get your tuner so they can't copy you there. Although you can't get your tuner any more either so...

Thanks a ton... my rims are plasti-dipped white right now, but I will be getting painted white when the money is there. I've had a few things happen that require most of my monies right now...

Nah. I daily mine during the nice days and whenever I go trips and what not. About every 3-4 washes I have to hit them with the polish because of washing it the sealant wears off a bit and grime and brake dust cling to them.

Hell ya. I think I'm gonna take a week from this summer and end up re sanding them with 1500 and moving up to 2500 and re polishing them. some spots you can see deep scratches from time to time and it bothers me a bit but it's part of the polished look.

Probably gonna end up making another set of retros and making the headlight shrouds completely black and painting the retro cover white to keep the white and blue theme.

can you buy retros? or do you always have to make them yourself?

You can buy them or make them. A lot cheaper to make them then have someone to make them for you.

i had an hid kit already on my car when i bought it, but one bulb went out and i tried to find bulbs to replace but none of the ones i found had 3 connectors they all had 2. i ended up buying some bulbs that you can plug into that give the look of hid but aren't.
