congrats man. too bad you missed the dell.com deal they had for this camera. it was $585 w/ shipping like a week ago and yes it included the kit lens.

Hands down the Canon G9 FTW its a point and shoot when you want it and a DSLR when you need it. I love my G9

got me a

Nikon D60 DSLR with 18-55mm f 3.5-5.6G VR AF-S DX Nikkor Lens and a 2GB SD memory card should have it friday. Anyone else have a D60?

not a bad price but i saw the same package w/ no extended warranty a week ago for $525 shipped. the d80 was $600 for the body only and the d90 is coming out very soon but over $1,200 easily.

Yeah the extended warrenty cost me 80 bucks it cover accidental damaged or droped it. Have you ever used the d60 i am new to these type of camera. Damn D90 cost 1200 damn thats for a pro

So i got my camera today. Its sweet as hell. Now it came with a 18-55mm lens now what is a good lens to upgrade to? It seems like my camera has more stuff i can do with a better lens. DC or regin SS do you guys know what is a good lens that would work with the D60?

Killer, what are you going to be shooting mostly? There are tons of "good" lenses, but really depends on what you want to use it for.

Also what is your budget?

Well i found this lens and this is what i am thinking about. Its a 200 dollar lens. Its a Nikkon 55-200mm f/4-5.6G IF-ED AF-S DX Zoom Lenses

Yeah just car photo shoots for some of my buddies in the car club. So pics of my kids and vacation time. I like shooting little things like bugs on flowers its awsome.

well i wouldn't really recommend that lens, unless its all you can afford, then i would just say wait and save. if you do get that lens, make sure to get the VR version, i dont think its much more
