Hai guys... ended up mounted up my TVS early!! Pulls strong AF. I am seeing a dip in boost up top as you can see on the graph, maybe I'm getting a lil belt slip.

This was my best pull = 451whp and 184wtrq

Awesome!

I was going to say it will be a LONG winter waiting to put that TVS on. Last winter was the longest in my life.

This has been a short winter for me so far. I never had my car out and about this late into the season.

I hope this warm weather last through January!

OK made a little progress.

Exhaust/Resonator has been replaced with ZZPs new style resonator. I had a newer design that was rattling but I was told it was mostly because of the internal welds inside the resonator. Apparently they fixed it... well see. Exhaust sounds great IMO. Hard to pick up on the camera, but there is zero rasp. Quiet at idle/low RPM with just a slight rumble. WOT it gets pretty loud, blower screaming overpowers it by far which is what I like. TBH wouldn't mind the exhaust being a little louder and would like slightly more gurgle as the rpms drop but I aint complaining lol.

Resonator was just put on yesterday so I think it'll get a touch louder once it breaks in.

OTTP Return Style has come in.

Also picked up a powder coated valve cover.

Yup, I had the windows down and sunroof open yesterday. It was wonderful.

As for your resonator, Corsa had the same issues... the internal welds would break and cause a rattle.

I will be installing an updated resonator from them next week. I'm on my 3rd resonator since 2010, haha.

Thankfully, they have a great lifetime warranty.

having some mixed thoughts now. its crossed my mind to sell a fewer bigger ticket items off the balt and move onto something newer and more prestigious.

Looking at a newer BMW 335is coupe - 6 speed. Been wanting one for years. Think i will be test driving this weekend. Lets see if I fall in love with it.

also 3 things:

i hear rattle in that vid

y u no TVS action video?

Beware the powdercoated valve covers... theres some temperature they might handle being baked at when curing the powder but any more and you have risked effectively destroying the internal gizmos of it. I was popping my dipstick with a gutted valve cover until i replaced mine. and gutted/same as destroyed powdercoated one IMO lol
