Dumb question, but is there a way to distinguish a SRT8 from a Hellcat based on something exterior?

Yes. The hood and front bumper are different. The hood has the same scoop as an SRT, but it also has two additional louvers/heat extractors. The front bumper has no fog lamps. Also the fenders have a Hellcat badge on them.
