My New Ride

I bought an 04 c5 with 22,500 miles on it with a blown ringland from a magi supercharger, car was my friends uncles. Car will have a 383 LS1 in it, and a TTIX kit. Car is an auto, already has a RPM built level 6 4L80. Next step is to the machine shop.

On to some pics

Damage to number 6 piston, number 4 also had a cracked ringland. Block seems fine.

They are pte 6265's I was told with the small turbonetics covers. With the ttix kit on the c5 the pte covers won't fit. Center section looks like my dbb pte unit I had also.

Very nice, why bother with re-building the LS1 tho? Aluminum block limits what you can really do with them, to be honest I'm kinda shocked you are shooting for 800whp on a stock block LS1. Unless it's not a stock block?

A mildly worked over LQ4/LQ9 would be quite fitting for this IMO.

Either way, bad ass car man!
