A mildly worked over LQ4/LQ9 would be quite fitting for this IMO.

Either way, bad ass car man!
Look at the pile of parts, all forged. Lq4 is nice but adds another 100 lbs, on top of 150 lbs of turbo parts and then another 65 for a 6 point bar is just not worth it. Ls1 blocks when dive right woo run at 1000 hp. Even tho my trans is built that's the limiting factor. It is built to handle 800 hp

So a little update. Car is 99 percent done. Would have been started but found out the radiator had a hole so ordered a DeWitts for it. Looking to potentially start on Sunday. I will post some pics then, and if all goes well a video.

Start up didn't happen, I did not receive the fittings to adapt an line to the trans cooler. I got a couple days of work coming up and then back at it, so how about a few pics of the progress. Engine bay is not the prettiest but it will get the job done.

Nice man! I didn't see this until now, but that's pretty awesome. Always have loved the C5's, and turbo LS is another one of my favorite things, so this is just win lol

Thanks guys, took it for its maiden voyage today, car runs good, obviously tuning issues to work through. Also have a small coolant leak on the front steam vents now vs the rear, so that needs fixed.

Damn it looks great. How'd you get the paint to look so nice? What products did you use?

I have a variety of things I do, one was the entire car was wet sanded, then polished out with a variety of products, ammo products, maguiars products, pc 7424 and a rupes. multiple different pads, sealer, and some good carnauba wax as a finish. Just depends on how hard/soft the finish is.

Update about the car, car is running well, looking at dyno date within 10 days.
