I got my retrofit kit from Mike @ buyhids.com
First of all, I'd like to say thanks to Mike for being so helpful. Now, onto the review. The products were very good and easy to do if you do your research BEFORE you try to install it. I read many different How-to's for the retro install so when I done it I knew what I was getting myself into and I knew what to do. Mike shipped the stuff quickly and replaced what unfortunately got damaged in the mail with NO questions asked. The customer service that Mike gave was the best I've gotten from anyone....PERIOD! I finished my install today and I don't think I could be more pleased with it.

good stuff. what happened to you building your own?
for the record there is no "favoritism in this thread" although mike seems to think its biased.

Someone peed in someones cheerios lol!
My review is for myself and the following customer service. I bought TRS Projectors and Buyhids lights and TRS wiring harness and built mine myself. I still cant figure out why my headlights dont work I get a new problem every time that I use them. I should just sell them. Black Housings, Mini h1 projectors and 5k hids. Make me an offer. I may sell if the right price is offered. I must say that buyhids does write back with options of things to do but they can get cranky at times when explaining what to do or how to wire up stuff. I get the same from TRS, they are great at getting back but don't seem to explain it to my 4th grade learning level lol. I lneed pictures and lots of them to go from step to step. I also do not like that I have to switch pins from the plugs when I paid decent money for them to be finished. I am no wire wizard and do not want to splice up my original harness. Right now brights all the time and no brights when i flick on the bright switch. OH well i guess eventually when I unplug every wire and switch them every way I will have my retros the way they should be. By the way I like the way mine look for a first time build.

Honestly not picking on anyone just saying that this stuff seems really difficult to me as I am a noob. I would like a whole walk through of pictures of where things go if possible. Thanks for the help in advance.
