Once and a life time chance and I took it

Working the World of Wheels show here in Chicago this weekend and Chevrolet has John Force in their display.

I took advantage of it and got this picture

Many many years ago I when I was a kid, I got to meet him at the fall nationals in Tulsa along with Gene Snow, Don Garlits & Eddie Hill. John Force was definitely the coolest to meet. Sadly I never got to meet my hero, Bob Glidden.

in seattle many years ago i got john over to our pits (i was wrenching on an alcohol funny car) for beer. coolest professional racer you will ever find.
