LOL, probably won't be able to beat 700whp. If you are bumping up to that, then you'll have me beat for a while.

Exhaust housing finally made it here today. Hopefully the manifold makes it tomorrow. I'll post up pics later on when I make it home.

Here are the pics....

First is pics of the T4 Divided Housing

Now the T3 undivided housing

Some comparison side by side shots

And finally, "assembled". Not final assembly of course.

Amazing cause it is quite a bit smalller than the T4 housing. But the Vband outlet is the same size and the wheel spins freely. I can't wait to bolt it up to the manifold! This is getting exciting! I'm glad I'm able to do this with all brand new parts. Makes me feel much more confident!

On a side note, I think this sucker is going to spool fast. I may convert to straight turbo a few months after getting this thing up and running.

Just so people know, the biggest turbo I've dealt with is a FP2544 before this. And I've never played around with a Holset. So this looks like a lot of fun. It's way bigger than the FP2544 that I ran at one point on my old dsm.

Nice stuff. Pretty soon, you'll need a wheelie bar to keep pressure/force on the front tires.

I was thinking about getting those, but I decided on these bad ass carbon fiber splitters instead. I figure if I use a 2 step to build boost, I should launch fast enough to have enough speed to provide enough airflow to push down on the splitters and create downforce. They are cheaper and easier to install than wheelie bars and look SOOOOO awesome!!!!!

I'd just put a shop fan/"air mover" in front of the splitters and have it blow at 50mph to create automatic down force.

Great idea! I'll use two of them. Double the amount of downforce!!!!

you will need to have a specific style manifold to run the divided housing correctly. or it will not do a damn thing over a single inlet

Talking with Ryan at ZZP, it's just un-needed. It just wouldn't be cost-effective to build a manifold with a divided t4 flange and I probably would never use it again. The T3 housing supports my goals just fine.

No I didn't see it was for sale. I just did a quick search and couldn't find it either. Sucks because I already bought the ZZP manifold and this T3 housing though.

I know. I was a former DSMer. I never played with a Holset, but I did all the research on the dsm forums.

I got very lucky to come across this one as cheap as I did.

Well, my manifold is at the post office, BUT, they are closed today. So I'll have to go get it tomorrow. It's snowing like crazy outside, been snowing for like a week, and it isn't supposed to stop until Thursday. But that won't stop me from jumping in the Wife's Subaru Tribeca (a.k.a. AWD 4400LB TANK) and getting my box!

Also got a question for people.

I don't want the exhaust on my car loud at all. Now I have my mind made up on it for the most part. Full 3" mandrel piping with a dynomax super turbo muffler. But I don't know if I want to go with an external WG Dump tube, or route it back into the piping. Obviously if I want it to be quiet, I should route it back into the exhaust. But I don't know if this is going to cause any kind of surge or overboosting issues.

Anyone got any experience on it? All the turbos I've used before have been internally gated, so this is a new territory for me.

My Tial is dumped. It's not too loud. Never opens during normal driving and at WOT it's loud anyways.
