What engine do you have? It would help a bit for someone to answer. I personally can't remember exactly where it's located.

They are on the accessory drive side. Look for a wire bundle leading to the lower engine block just on the block side of the accessory cover gasket.

Crankshaft Position Sensor (CKP) is directly under the oil filter housing. According to the service manual you have to remove the starter first.

Did your car sound like this?

Take it to the dealer, doing it yourself is going to suck.

Thanks guys for help..............but , too late on taking it to the dealer, i already took it off.......and without taking the starter off..........But now i cant put it back in ..........so am going to have to take the started off, but no big deal, I call my mechanic and he is doing it right now . Am just a little disapointed, i had to change the cam and the crank shaft sensor, I am starting to miss my 00 honda prelude, then again, the prelude wan't as fast as the SS so, i take that back
