Electrical issues as far as the eye can see...
Hey all, new here, was loving my 2006 Cobalt SS/SC with a stage 2 from ZZP untilll....
One day about a month ago when I was driving I had the cluster die momentarily, PS was lost, but was immediately restored.
Fast forward to yesterday, my wife tries to go out for groceries....
Car wont start as easily, the security light kept flashing, the cluster was pretty much dead as in gauges were not reading, low fuel light was on, car kept bonging at her, intermittently the PS indicator would light off, she was able to get it to start with a lot of effort, but it would hunt idle...
I was told this was the ignition lock recall by my local forum, but last time I took it in (last month) to get 2 new keys and get them programmed (around $300.00, thanks chevy )
they told me there were NO TSBs on the car or recalls...
Today I get home, try it, and EVERYTHING WORKS.....
A little weary of that we try it again two hours later and after unlocking, she opened the door got inside and then the alarm went off and WOULDN'T go off with any inputs from either FOB, but we DID NOT try putting the key in the ignition and starting...
Are the two problems related? Is GM on this board? If so... My VIN is...

On their website, it says there are NO recalls for this vehicle, but with my wife's safety in danger I tend to disagree. We depend on this car.
Recalls? Power steering assist module? Bad ground? Are the problems related? What do I do?

If you find this issue happening regularly I would be glad to repair your car.
I am in Marysville and have every tool / dealer level scan tools and decades of experience.
It's going to be hard to fix this right the first time if it's not currently screwing up.
Stealers like to throw parts at it using best guess repair procedures at your expense.
I do not play that game.
