the fuel tank spc 14728 is covered until 3/22/2017 or 150,000mi (240,000km)
the fuel pump spc 12191 has coverage literally forever until repair is performed.
I've attached pdf's of everything.

The fuel tank/fuel pump special coverage's are not a recall fyi. A recall is gm sending you a letter saying to bring in your car asap and they will fix whatever it is the recall is for whether or not the part is broken. Special coverage's are where something is occurring at a abnormal rate so to increase cust satisfaction and prevent a lawsuit they basically give away a free warranty on particular components/services but only when there is a problem.

My apologies on my ignorance of the whole recall/special coverage etc...
I guess that's what I meant to say and the dealership said it at least twice..."special coverage".
.long overdue update but it WAS covered on my car and the dealership took care of it.
