I hear a slight chatter in neutral, almost sounds like an small exhaust leak. when the clutch pedal is depressed it goes away. Is this normal on the upgraded clutch? I don't want to tear the trans out again. But I'm annoyed with the noise. Thanks for your input.

Did you replace the slave cyl/release bearing when you did the clutch?

It's the TOB. Mine does it too. Annoying but no issues so far

Yes, I replaced all flywheel bolts and pressure plate bolts with new ones and torqued them to spec. and I replaced the throw out bearing. (Twice unfortunately) replaced it with the upgraded TOB from ZZP. That blows me I wish it was silent. But I will sacrifice noise for performance.

Did you grease it before installing it?
Did you vaccuum bleed it?

Its not an upgraded per say; it is OEM LNF.

Nah, there are differences...

The clutch disc has a different lining and a slightly different spring pack.

There's a thread all about it.

On the clutch; I know. I am one that argues anyone that claims GMPP and OEM LNF are the same clutch.

I was talking about the "ZZP Upgraded TOB"

Yes, indeed.... you are correct about the TOB.

I am aware that the ZZP TOB is just the stock LNF TOB. I honestly don't remember greasing the inside of the bearing or carrier assembly. But I know I greased the input shaft.

You shouldn't need to grease the bearing, a touch of grease on the mating surface never hurts but it shouldn't make noise based on lack of grease.

It may be the input shaft rattle, it's common on these cars and there's nothing really to do about it.

Okay that's reassuring, I was just worried I may need to pull out the trans again. It's not horrible but noticeable if your near the driverside front wheel.
