Low oil pressure light now not running right.

I was driving my 2009 Cobalt SS with full bolton's and HP tune, I was getting on it pretty hard a few times with no problems and when I went to get on it again it started stuttering and not acting right at all. I would get into the throttle and the air/fuel ratio would jump all over the place and the car would stutter hard and then half way into 100% throttle the car started to act right again, but as soon as I dropped back down into low idle/RPM the problem would come back.

I came to a stop on the side of the road to see what was up and as soon as i put the car into neutral and coasted to a stop the car threw a low oil pressure light and then the car just shut off. I tried starting it up again and it did but the idle was screwed up, I had to keep giving it gas to keep the car from stalling. I babied the car back home and let is sit for 1 day, I went back out there to see if it was still acting up and it is for the most part. The car will idle on its own now but under light throttle the car stutters and the air/fuel ratio jumps from 10-18 while under 25% throttle. If I give it 100% throttle in 2nd gear it stutters at the start but then smooths out at the top of 5000 rpm.

I did just recently make a trip from Texas to PA and about half way through my trip my car started having similar issues but then it seem to have fixed itself after about 100 miles.

I just changed the oil and filter about 1500 miles ago and I don't appear to be leaking oil anywhere and my oil levels are full. Anyone got any clue as to what the problem may be?

He means you may have destroyed your engine. You mentioned low oil pressure light and that you drove it.
Hard to say exactly without seeing the car first hand. Check for codes, check your oil again. What oil did you put in? Did you acidently use the wrong oil? Something may have blocked the oil filter or osmething too. Get an oil pressure gauge and see what your oil pressure is doing psi wise.

I really think they should call it the Change Engine Oil Light, not Low Oil Light

No, the change engine oil is a message on the Driver Info Center when your Oil Life Remaining reaches 0%

It could be a million different things.

Step 1:
-Check coolant and oil level.
-Drain engine oil and look for metal shavings.
-Do a compression and a leakdown test.
-Scan for codes.

Step 2:
Install a junkyard engine.

Step 3:
Sell car

Turns out all you peoples was wrong!

My CAI came detached from the turbo, reattached it and everything was all good. It was just barley hanging off so when I first took a look I didn't notice it was off.
