Hello guys its been awhile since i been on here but i knew you all would be able to point me in the right direction.

Ive got a 2006 ss/sc just a few basic mods nothing crazy. Ive ran the same setup for about 4-5 years without any problems besides a clutch. but about a year ago i blew a nice chunk out of cylinder one piston. it only held about 15-20psi. I took it apart and thought maybe it was just over due based on the 15psi setup. I bought a remaned engine and dropped it in than 2 months later same problem. Cyl 1 no pressure at all. I haven't taken it apart yet but im guessing same issue. Most likely a bad tune. Anyway I was wondering I have two engines now, should i rebuild or just buy another used engine or is there a create engine. If you do think i should rebuild do you know anyone who can do it for me. I have some knowledge in doing it but haven't done it before not sure if i should take the chance. Thanks in advance.....

It's obvious you need to find out why it blew two motors. I'd start checking all the basic stuff like spark control and fuel supply like injectors and pressure. But if in the end you find nothing, have someone with hpt log the car when it gets running again right away before driving around again.

Also if you need any old parts from the first motor,those should be looked at.
