im having the same problem you had/have.

hey im having the same issue that you might still have (loss of power and a very high pitched noise when accelerating). im just wondering if you found out what the problem was or if you might have any ideas. im thinking its definetly in the supercharger but i wanted to ask you before i rip it apart. i have the same car as you. any help is appreciated.

I still have not diagnosed the problem. I haven't had any time to do so. I am from Oklahoma and had to go to Pennsylvania for 3 weeks and just been really busy. If you figure it out, please let me know.

That's the best method of troubleshooting. I see tons of people apply that logic.

"Here's a video of me flooring it in 4th gear while the engine is detonating, what do you think the cause can be?"

I'm not flooring it at all, the video is 15 seconds and I go from 15 mph roll to about 55 in that time.

1.) No CEL light
2.) Car drives fine when staying out of boost. I can't really feel any loss of power. There is no noise.
3.) Also, no noise if sitting in neutral in the driveway and raising the rpms.
4.) noise isn't present until after 5 PSI...from there it feels like the car levels out in power gains.

I'm leaving for England in a few days, so I likely won't be able to do anything on it for a few weeks. I think the first step I'm going to is remove the down pipe and check if the cat is clogged. But I can't believe that wouldn't throw a CEL. Actually, I can't think of anything that would cause something like this that wouldn't cause the CEL to come on.

This morning it was clearly making a rattling noise in the cat when I started it up. Not sure if it was there before, or if I just heard it this morning because it was inside the garage.

Back from England. Installed new ZZPerformance 2.5 inch Down pipe with a 400 cell Cat. I also went ahead a replaced both O2 sensors since I was down there.

Car is much better. Though a bit raspier. I find a small exhaust leak in the rest of the exhaust too. May buy a catback next month to fix that.
