Same exact thing happened to mine.

The issue with mine was that there was a loose connection that had something to do with the hood/hood latch. The car/remote will not start (and do exactly what you're saying yours is doing) if the hood of the car is not closed all the way. Something came loose or went faulty, and "relayed" to the remote starter that my hood was still open (when infact it was closed). They replaced/repaired the issue, and it works fine now. I dropped the car off around 8 a.m. and it was ready by 3 p.m. that same day.

Do you have an extra set of keys in the ignition?

I know mine doesn't start if there's keys in the ignition

Installed any parts that would throw a CEL? My CEL came on immediately after installin CAI and this happened, removed negative battery cable and CEL was gone, therefore remote start works. Type of engine protection if CEL is on or something

Make sure when you bring it to the dealer, bring all the keys and all your fobs, they will be needed for testing.

I'm telling you - It's a faulty hood or trunk latch. It happened to me. If you're under warranty, bring it in and they'll fix it in a day. It's happened twice to me, both times it was the hood. It is programmed to NOT start via remote if there is a short thats relaying that the trunk or hood isn't closed.

Take it to the dealer.

faulty hood latch, door switch, trunk switch, you wait to long after hitting lock before hitting start, you didnt hit lock before start, it got turned off in the DIC, etc........

My remote doesn't even unlock lately. The battery life on them suck (if they have a battery...). This is my second key and already need to replace it.
