Gas Pedal Stickin?
Not sure if anyone has noticed this about there car. I was driving in the snow and lost traction so I let off the gas but the rpm’s didn’t come down for about a second or so and it damn near put me into a ditch. I had to push in the clutch to kill the rpm’s. After the rpm’s started falling the wheels stop spinning and regained traction. I thought that it was just a one time thing so I tried to duplicate it in a parking lot and sure enough when ever I take my foot off the gas there is a delay that causes the rpm’s to hold and then fall. I personally don’t like that feeling. I am thinking of taking the car to get checked but if this is normal I want to return the car. I don’t see how this is safe at all. Its like the gas pedal is sticking. Anyone else notice this on there car? If so how are you dealing with it?

i've got pedal covers and they don't stick in the floormat... sometimes, the RPM's don't come down right away. I don't think it's a sticky throttle, I think its just the way the computer is handling things.
(i know... i sound tarded, but i just woke up)

It's probably because of the drive by wire system. There is no longer a throttle cable, it is now a sensor at the pedal and a motor on the TB. I have noticed a slight delay in RPM drop when shifting as if my foot was still on the gas, took some getting use to.
