stock headlight lighting problem

so i noticed when i was leaving my buddies house like 20 min ago that my left headlight doesn't work ...well to an extent..because when i go on high beams it turns on..only when its just regular beam that it doesn't come on..so obviously a electrical issue and not the bulb ..any one have any ideas?

Check the low beam fuse. There's two separate fuses for both high beam and low beam.

I'm not sure, just pull out your manual and look it up in the engine bay fuse box.

pretty sure its the bulb. 9007 bulbs are dual filament. the low beam filament is probably fried.

Yes, this seems to be very common in the Cobalts, the headlights are dual filament and the low beam one went out. Just go buy a new bulb and you should be golden
