Flashing engine light

So I replaced my spark plugs yesterday and I noticed as I started it up I was running really rich. I was running lean before now all of a sudden I'm rich. I started driving thinking it was just my AFR catching up or something. Well I noticed when I gave it throttle, my check engine light would flash. When I let off the throttle, it would go away. I took it to AutoZone and tried to read the code. Nothing. Started driving again and the same thing happened. I'm thinking maybe my spark plugs need gapped or something? Ignition-wise, everything ran fine before the new plugs. I'm going to try my old plugs and see if they do anything different. Hopefully I don't destroy a coil or anything on my way home from work

It's a coil that's bad

I installed NGK Iridiums BKR6EIX I believe. They were gapped for stock (0.040) so I closed the gapping (0.034) and I'm still having the problem so next step is coils. I'm trying to determine which one is bad. I don't have a code thrown at all and the CEL only comes on when driving. It stabilizes at WOT and turns off but normal driving it flashes

And no the 0825 part is a date of importance for me. I have an 06 SS/SC

If it's flashing, the car is knocking or misfiring badily. Plugs are probably screwed.

Have you tried pulling codes?

You could also swap coils and see if it follows?

I can't pull any codes because I don't have a live data reader. The code doesn't show at idle, it only shows while driving. I thought about buying a coil and testing each one individually

Any decent code reader will show you the stored code for this.

I had the codes read with 3 different brand readers and nothing comes up. It's only while driving
