Hi,

I took the car in for the pwr steering recall.

Here is what the invoice said......

Perform Recall 10023, Power Steering Motor
Cause:
Susp Suspension/steering/wheels/tires/align/rotate/balance/brg pack
176 WC
1 20995579 F-Motor kit
.......44420 Recall 11111.11 Replaced motor per recall

All N/C of course.

Were they supposed to align, rotate the tires, balance the tires and repack the bearings?

Or is this only if I had reported that the pwr steering had failed?

I asked them to rotate the tires which I paid for.

it might be some generic code in there system cause none of that is necessary for the recall. i wouldnt worry about it as long as they did what you wanted.
