product safety -fuel odor or spotting on ground
GM RECALL #12190
this is a recall brought up to my attention by my dealer. it says the recall was made november 12, 2012 so dont bite my head off saying it was already recalled. IT SAYS TO CHECK FUEL PUMP MODULE

originally sold or currently registered in AZ,CA,FL,NV,TX

Just making sure.....but I have a 2010 SS/t
And I recently parked in a parking garage and smelling gas. Not sure if it was my car or the old truck i parked next to.
But Im guessing im excluded from this since i have a 2010???

FYI - on this recall, I was told they have to drop the tank.
So, don't do like I did the morning that I called & fill up the tank.
I an now going to wait until perhaps next Saturday to go in as every little bit less of fuel helps make it easier to drop the tank.
No sense in torturing the techs any more than necessary.
I have not smelled any fuel yet, though, so I am not terribly concerned.
As far as I know, this only covers the ' 09 models.
