well I been working on the interior since about 10am. Didnt really want to rent a steamer so I just used the brush, towel, sweeper and just get it the best I can short of dying or buying a new carpet. I am pleased with the results somewhat. I figured it not a show car so it doesnt have to be perfect but its a million times better than it was. I will update with some pics once I get them uploaded

Okay, well I got the pics upload so i will explain what I did today. Took out the front seats and scrubbed the carpet and basically got it to the best I can without getting a steam cleaner in it. Its not perfect but its good enough for a DD and I found a GTO today I may trade it in on lol.
Products I used
Adams Carpet and Upholstery Cleaner
Adams Carpet Brush
Adams waterless wash towel
Microfiber towel
Adams Leather and Interior Cleaner
Adams Leather Conditioner
Adams Interior Applicator
Adams edgeless utility towels

Steps in how I did it
First removed the front seats
did a nice vac
Then sprayed carpet with the carpet cleaner and leak soak for about 30 sec
Then used the brush and scrubed
Re-vac'd
Sprayed with carpet cleaner again
Wiped up with the waterless wash towel

Here are results

Glad you got your car back! I must say I'm very impressed with the before and after pictures. Can't even tell there was stains on the carpet imo. These seats are a bitch to get clean once anything gets on them. Even water stains them WTH

Nice write up of a detail!

Adam's Carpet Cleaning Brush
I started when i was about 15-16 at a local car dealership detailing. Then I started doing my friends Dads company trucks (contractors) and his dad got impressed so i started doing their personal vehicles and then word of mouth spread around and started doing it for other people. I wouldnt say Im a professional. Right now since I moved away I only have a few people I do it for.

Thanks, yea the seats are a PITA. I thought I maybe got it all, but after they completely dried out I definetly need to do them again. It probably would bug most people, but I know it can be better. So i will do the seats again unless I find a deal on a seat of sc/tc ones.

Well decided to start doing the hood paint correction. I am not good at taking these pics. The pics dont do justice on how much of a difference it is and how much better it looks.

Looks good. The Little Green carpet cleaner from Bissell works wonders, and at 100 bucks, it's a good bargain. Are you using a DA? Which one Porter Cable? What is the back story on getting the car back? You co-signed, she stop paying? What happened?

^I have everything that you mentioned and I have to agree with the bissel cleaner. I haven't used my DA just yet. I just bought a porter cable 7424xp. I'm pretty siked about using it yet. I used to detail cars as well and take car of mine when I am not lazy.

I can admire your work because I know what it feels like to clean vehicles as dirty as that.

wow nice work on the paint scott, much much better!

i would recommend renting a steam cleaner from ace or somethn, it'll really go that extra mile and make those seats look awesome. or better yet go to the seat trading thread and find a set of ss leather seats for cheap

Same. My friends always bug me if I have dust or something on the dash and ask why I let my car get so dirty.
