anyone know if the tinted ss headlight lenses are a tint sheet or the tint is integrated into the plastic? looking to buff out and polish the exterior of my headlights today but if the tint is on the outside of the lens i dont want to get into it.

They are tinted, and it's molded it. You won't buff it off.

so im following this how to and i cant seem to get my lights back to normal. they werent really bad in the first place just a little dull, but i have now made them worse than before. am i supposed to buff the polishing compound with the 2000 grit sand paper, or with the orbital?

I bought a $20 headlight restore kit form autozone, and it took my about an hour and a half to do both lights. After sanding and poslishing you need a sealer/topcoat to make it clear again.

Also the link to the thread you posted doesn't work
