Help!?!

Not sure how to describe this but I was washing my car the other day and I noticed what looked to me like dried water stains on my trunk right below my wing. I scrubbed at it thinking maybe it didn't dry properly the last time since I had just run it through a car wash real quick on my way home from work. Even after washing and scrubbing over and over it still would not come off. Any idea of what this may be from and how to get rid of it?

I took some pics from my phone so hopefully you can see what I'm talking about

It's hard to tell. I don't think it's faded. It almost looks as if it wasn't dried properly after it was washed and it left like a water mark.

Wet sanding would remove way to much clear coat to remove a water stain, that is for freshly painted or severely neglected paint. Get meguiars ultimate compound which can be found anywhere and polish it out by hand is the safest way to remove it. Otherwise any competent detailer can remove that in 2 minutes with a machine.
