4) Dry car with big ass waffle weave towels.

5) Detail Spray for all minor imperfections from wash.

If I'm going ***** to wall, step 5 is as follows...

5) Clay bar entire car.

6) Take out Porter Cable and M105/205 entire car.

7) Lay down a sealant to protect freshly cut/polished paint.
If i had a power washer and better yet a foaming attachment this would be my JAM!

Oh and when it cones to polishing i been doing exactly what kyle is doing. But one panel a week right after i wash it its time consuming ive spent around two hours on the hood alone. Maybe im doing it wrong??? Takes like three to four passes of the 105 on the pad to take most of the warsh marks out

1. Pull it in the shop

2. Flip the switch on the wall mounted Hotsy pressure washer

3. Rinse with the ridiculously high pressure

4. Grab one of the long handled brushes and lather the heck out of it

5. See step 3

6. Water blade

7. Chamois

OR

1. Wait til the detail department gets slow and starts offering free carwashes <----- my favorite wash procedure

Working at a Chevy dealer with full service detail shop ftw.

when it comes to waxing,i have been using liquid glass. i would really like to try out some zano (sp?) my friend uses it and swears by it.

ive been using a super cheap california blade, but not an actual cali blade. i need to get one. i cant stand water spots!

im going to clay bar and wax my windows tonight. see if that does anything.
It's a liquid polymer based wax. Generally waxing your glass is a problem, as it can cloud up your windshield at night when lights hit it, diff. waxes may react diff. though.

i use rainx sometimes on the windshield, it really does seem to work, i can drive in the rain with no wipers if i want!

i've thought about simply wiping some on the car but not sure if the ammonia or w/e's in it as a cleaner could harm the wax/sealant layer on the paint. i def wanna use some of that stuff that helps to make the paint 'hydrophobic' to make all water just bead right off!
