It's been dead around here lately. Anybody make it to the track recently? Anybody set any new personal best times? Damn I wish I was back already cause I'd be hitting up the track like crazy!

I was supposed to go to a 1/8 mile track today but that tropical storm was supposed to roll through here tonight. So it won't be happening for me.

 

Sport compact day is Sep 13, so I'll have some more videos then... there should be a few cobalts going..

 

my meth pump stopped working- trying to figure that one out this weekend...ive already taken it out and believe i found the problem.

had to throw on a more conservative tune until then...and i just got my bottle filled :|

 

damn, hope to see some more action soon. broke cars and weather. my bud back home has been through 3 tranny's lately. sucks for him. I think he's giving up on the cobalt.

It's nice weather here, but it's just too hot in my opinion to go out to the track....

Too hot and humid here. But my best so far was a 12.8 @111mph, not sure I'm gonna go much faster without more mods.

 

we have street tuner mayhem at bandimere on sunday and looks like we have a fairly decent group going. i am hoping to break 14.00 but not sure if i'm quite there.

Actualy I had to fix my post, it is heavier then the Balt by about 500 pounds or so.

I haven't been to the track since July 5th. Way to freaking hot here to go racing in the late summer here. 100+ temps and 90* humidity, makes the Cobalt sluggish as ****. I'll start going again towards the end of this month.

 

i quite posting times and race vids on here as i usally just get bashed & its not worth it especially when fellow cobalt owners are the ones bashing.

but i do post them on youtube.

i was the 1st TC in 12's i think. but ill go sunday and take the wife or someone to record & ill post on youtube. with like 4 other new vids i have . just been lazy to upload

 

choko, you got bashed because you have been using nitrous and claimed that you hit Xwhp without it. And Xwhp was greater than Hahn's Ywhp with more mods than you. That's why you got bashed. So when you started posting your track times, people found it hard to believe you.

You CAN earn your respect back, you just need to be completely honest about your mods, and provide slips and videos.
