hp tuners actually covers more i beleive but the interface for efi live is more user friendly from what ive heard. efi live basically tells you what to tune after logging is how it was explained to me.

In what way? We have nearly 2x the amount of 2.0ss/sc parameters and also offer software for the 2.0 ss/tc which they do not offer software for.

When it comes to cobalt support we offer just as much if not more than "the other guys"

And in regards to our 2.4 tuning software we offer over 400 editable tables & parameters for those applications so definitely aren't at much of a disadvantage there either

Also we are a sponsor here on the forum meaning your purchase directly supports this site & keeps it up and running

Give the 2.4's the abilty to tune vitrul VE tables such as EFI Live offers & I will love you long time

Have you looked at the EFI live software, The user interface with HPT is alot nicer and easier to nav through.

EFI Live is more biased towards the GenIII / GenIV V8's, Diesels, and started bringing on other supporting vehicles. As a user, I can assure you it's not a dumbed down version of HPT at all. Side-by-side on an LS1, they're pretty much comparable. At that point, it becomes user preference.

I just did what I thought I never would and picked up a copy of HPT because I really want to tune my LNF. I'm still not too happy about having to do it mainly because of the cost of having two different suites. But, like a band-aid, it was a quick decision and I'm hoping it won't sting too bad.

OMG HERESY

jk, but honestly, your going to get a heavily biased HPtuners opinion on this forum, most of the members use it.

IMO HPtuners has more support than EFIlive as far as people go, all the members use it so its easier to post up a thread with hptuners problem than EFIlive problems
