if i was racing for some sort of purse...then yeah i'ld go all out. but since its just a 4ft trophy for 1st and a 2ft for second...its not that big of a deal

 

I hate to say it but did revhigh18 provide a pic of the number on his car? looks like he did not have one.......So we have no proof this was his car. Secondly, he had a dumped exhaust which is in not listed in his stat line.. A dumped exhaust will add about 15-20 hp to these cars, and it's been told to me by a racing expert that the TC would need around 330-335 whp to run better then 112 mph in the quarter.

 

It took 334whp for my mustang to hit 118 in the 1/4 with my old motor at a 3150lb race weight. My recent motor does a tad under 116mph with 316whp and about 300wtq at a 3000lb race weight. Revhigh's near 114mph is easily believeable with the dyno numbers and weight of the vehicle.

 

i can verify thats him. i've seen him, i've seen his car...thats it. his car put down what like 317?? that day in kc?

first off, I know for a fact that he races at KCIR, I'm pretty damn sure that's his car making the pass. You can't get much better proof than a video, A pic isn't better proof, it's only a substitute for not having a vid.

2nd, good catch on the dumped exhaust. I forgot he did do that and you can hear it in the vid. I'm adding that mod right now.

dude, don't even sweat it. All that matters is that I posted your times. THis guy has no control over what I put on the top 10 list. And I think I'm completely fair when I post up people's times. He's just a hater anyways. Yea, I give you LNF guys **** all the time, But I"m all for seeing a cobalt go fast. Whether it has a 2.2ltr ecotec or a LSx. Just ignore him. He's got no pull.

I was there and personally saw his passes. The vid was filmed on my wife's camera. He has a distinctive car, it's hard to miss. Hope you ain't calling me a liar.

So basicly if a SS/TC owner can drive they're about a half second apart. That's like 4 car lengths. A SS/SC owner will need some goodies most of the time against the TC to keep up.
