Not in that picture, I usually just like to pull the car out to the sun after polishing to check for any missed areas. But usually i follow up with NXT 2.0 or Chemical guys 50/50

I dont think it is. I think they stopped doing single stage paint a long time ago. like 80s maybe. But that red really pops.

hmmmmm, maybe a really shitty repaint on the hood?

that has to be it. i only buffed the hood and it def. came off red on the pad. however, the fender had obvious signs of clear fading. guess the hood was just repainted really cheaply at one point?

dayum , that looks awesome fischer .

Yea me too stu , lolz . I have no problem bringing it back to perfection , but I get real afraid of clearcoat depths . I have to do a 99 civic next week that I reeeeeally need to wetsand . Its a cheaply done 2 stage paint job with bad orange peel . I havent decided if I have the nuts to do it yet the wetsand route

It was repainted so I had plenty of clear coat to play with. If its anything 08 and above I will never touch it with sand paper. GM has been skimping out on the clearcoat during the painting process.
