stupid question
Ok so i will prob get killed for such a stupid question, so i recently bought an ss superchargered. Never had supercharger before, and just wondering how to read the psi meter. Why are there numbers on both sides of 0? thanks.
When the car is in vacuum, the engine is pulling in air naturally, meaning it's sucking in the same amount of air as it would in a non-supercharged application. When it goes into boost, the supercharger is shoving in more air than the engine would normally take in on it's own. ;-)
