2009 SS/tc 17inch wheels

I am looking at getting some 17in wheels. I want to have a little more tire than the 18s have. So, I am trying to maintain as close as I can the rolling height of the tires. I think 235/45/17 is going to put me a little over stock, but not much. However, I am worried a little about the width. I know it is only 10 mm, but I am worried about rubbing. Does anyone have any thoughts on this?

the real question is will those 17's clear the brembos?

shouldn't be too bad.

my friend rode on SS/NA 17's in the winter on his ss/tc and i believe he used 3mm spacers. but that was with OEM SS wheels. not sure what the offsets and such would be of the aftermarket ones OP wants.

Just put 235/40/18 Nitto Invo's on your stock 18's. I have 235/35/19 Invo's and my car and the ride is smoother than when I had 215/45/18 Pirelli's. Invo's don't have a crazy stiff sidewall, but they are still a decent performance tire.

Possible wheels

I am looking at the Drag DR33s. I have read where they will fit over the brembos. I am going to call them and get their take on it first.
