For those of you who might not know, Kart2Kart is an indoor go kart track located in Sterling Heights MI. They have real karts, they are not the lame put put golf karts. You wear a helmet, neck brace, and go fast. I wanted to let everyone know they have a great Labor Day weekend special that you may want to take advantage of. Normally I think it's $20 for a race but they are offering $10 races Friday, Saturday, and Sunday of Labor Day Weekend.

Anybody want to meet up? How many people have been there before and what do you think of the place? I've been there twice and did 5 races, they have a relatively new points system which is cool.

 

I like race rochester better, from what I hear the track is smaller, but the karts are faster, never been to k2k...

I checked out Race Rochester's website. Their track is tiny! 17.5 second track record with 20 seconds being an average lap time. I would say an average Kart2Kart lap time is 30 seconds on a bigger track. Looks like both places have the same kind of karts, they go faster on a bigger track obviously.

 

I have a lot of coupons lol. I was on the first 2 laps with the new points system (one won both) almost went today. They have deals monday and friday. one day is two for $25 and one is $10 each. I forget what day is what

 

I went today, too bad you didn't go. They seem to change their pricing a lot. Now they have Monday through Thursday $10, and Friday two for $25. They are scheduling two enduro races, with pit stops for driver changes, which sounds cool.

11/17/09 going to kart2kart around 4:30pm. Going to work on getting my lap times down.

Set new personal best on 11/27/09 28.37 seconds, was 28.59 before that.

 

I went there last year for my buddy's lil bachelor party... Fun place, got tanked and raced legally and safely
