Nice meeting a bunch of you, It was a cool day even though I was the odd man out. Sorry to hear about your axle Matt. Are you going to try to get the dealership to cover it under warranty? Or are you already out of one?

And for the other Matt, I told Ross to tell you to deflate the back tire all the way, then pump it back up. It kinda looked like the tire was popping off of the bead, and maybe that would re-seat it.

 

Yeah man, I stopped by the dealership on the way home (numbers on the car and all) and they svc manager assistant came out. she said it looks to be replaced under warranty (within 12/12,000 warranty from continental). I'll wait to hear what they say and then try it again, ya never know.

Go figure, rained on my last chance to try for 12's again. I only launched since the tune 3 times at the track. It's definitely possible ... til next time.

Also, do NOT go to cecil on the first and third saturdays of every month. Took FOREVER to get 3 runs. / rant

Yeah, Ross and I stuck around for 1 more run. It took forever. I did finish with a 12.7 @ 113.2 haha I got a okay launch for street tires...2.1 60'. We should plan a day to do Atco soon.

OOOO, LOL - the best he ran was 14 flat @ 103. He was granny shifting and launching like a woman just kidding Ross, but seriously.... his clutch was slipping, you could definitely tell.

I think he was tuned by tune time performance. I could be wrong though ...

Ross has a GM Stage 2 tune IIRC.

clutch > tune IMO

well it was a decent turn out. it was fun hanging out. stucks my axle snapped but oh well.... props to Cecil's crew for making the track prepped awesome.
