JapEatr on Sportlines(lots more pics on last page)

SEE LAST PAGES FOR RECENT PICS

sportlines are the shit, and this car is the easiest i have ever lowered totalinstal time maybe 1-1.5 hours, i dunno exactly, i did it between other cars at work

it in no way is too low or rough,

the alignment was out a bit so i spent like 2 hours aligning it
i notched the LF strut/spindel bolt hole and corrected the camber (piece of cake)
however, i have a call into the dealership to find out if there is any rear toe adjustment as the RR is out by a tenth of a degree(no biggie)

i set the front toe a little less then the specs for handling and to compensate for any torque/bump steer issues

i have alll my printouts if people want to see the step by step of the alignment adjustments

oh and it handles like a champ, the only mods i have are the Eibachs, DC strut bar, and billy badass Bridgestone Potenza RE950z 225/40/18(u all are not worthy...lol)

these three mods really glue this car to the pavement
body roll is near elimnated

things i have noticed, no rear adjustments period, to place for a rear tie bar or brace to go, and 0 caster adjustment period

enjoy

Those are the first pictures I have seen where it doesn't look too low in the rear. Nicely done. I am still trying to decide what springs to purchase.

no debate, sportlines should have been oem
my advice, if you dont have tools or a lift, go somewhere that does, the rear would be tough on a jack

the alignment is crucial, i took about a full degree out the rf and set the cross camber to .5
which is dead on the money for how i like my cars to handle,

im no newbie when it comes to this stuff so do it the right way and you will not be disappointed

if i took my car to the dealer i would demand printouts before and after and babysit
from my personal expirence techs just set the toe and let it go
w/o ever messing with the other angles, they just set the steering wheel strait, or they tell u it CANT be done
bullshit, u have to know how to do it the right way

i had the pro kit on my last car 95 Escort Turbo, it wasnt near low enough for looks, but plenty low for handling purposes

Doesn't that scrape EVERYTHING? My stock SS S/C scrapes coming out of every strip mall/fast food/school parking lot in existance.
