Yes, last time he went up with me, the ram that is, he has a PB of 13.89 and my PB was 13.86. We were dead even. He would just destroy me out of the hole and I would catch him top end. With his new turbo and meth kit he just owned me. 12.99 is awesome for a 6-speed truck. He was launching in 2nd in 4hi and would get into 6th by the 1/4.

Thanks. That ranger wreck was nuts. If you go to www.beaversprings.com and scroll down there is a pic of it. Looks like nothing really happened to it besides the windshield coming out. Hes lucky, it could have been worse. He almost took out the other truck.

Cool vid. The way that truck took off on that 13.1 sec pass is the way you guys should have been launching the whole time. Looks like you 2 had a hard time breaking 13's.

interesting how you guys didn't get the 13sec runs on vid also.

It looked like Roadrage was hooking pretty good but did not have the top end like yours. Must be that downpipe, made a nice difference when I put mine on.

Yeah I keep hearing that every week. I will run at Cecil, eventually, to see what the car can really do.

Our camera wouldn't work the rest of the day, sucked ass. It said the head got dirty. Look at the Ranger video. During his burnout the camera started bitching. We missed the truck beating a z06 and his best time of 12.99. We missed all of our best times.

Yeah I did pull a 2.2 before we left. I didn't get under 2.3 yet I still ran my best time. I was hoping to get under 9.0 in the 1/8th but I only ran a 9.1. I just can't believe mine had that much more of a top end than his. 2 mph at the 1/8th, 3-4 mph at the 1/4.

Should comment on the video, the first couple runs, me vs the mr2 and srt4, were not this past weekend we went. That was last season. We just compiled all of them into on video.

About not getting 13s, I only ran in the 13s twice that day, my 13.7 and a 13.9. Roadrage only ran in the 13s once with this PB of 13.9.

Haha, yeah, its nuts to say the least. Still amazes me how a 7400 lb truck can run a 12.99 at 106. 6-speed at that.

Bump for some vids

I always told people, my cars a 2nd 1/8th car, not 1/8th.

I was gonna run you on the highway going up but 1. We didn't need a ticket, and 2. you had a passenger so it wasn't really fair.

I want to know what made mine pull harder top end. Its either the DP or heat exchanger. Lets put both on yours!

Nice runs man, Beaver is way different looking now than I remember but then again its been like 15 years since I've been there. I'm hoping to go up that way this year sometime. I would love to take the Balt there and see how it compares to Gainesville Raceway.

I don't remember if you saw my thread or not a couple weeks back, but I made it to KCIR earlier.

Shakedown pass resulted in:
2.0 60ft.
8.8@80mph 1/8th mile
13.6@100mph 1/4 mile

Those were all best e.t.s, my best mph is 101 from last year though. But that run was a shakedown pass, after that I broke the linkage roll pin. So no other runs were made.

I'm going to the 1/8th mile by my house tonight though. Looking for 8.5@81/82mph.

Yeah I am hoping to get to a different track as well to see how different they are. You used to be from around here? Where at?

Those are some awesome times, especially for the stock pulley. Guess it shows how much traction + a awesome tune makes. Well done.

I used to live in Shermans Dale. Moved to Florida when I was 11, I come up to visit family in Carlisle every once in a while. I'm hoping to get up there this year.

You know what, you told me that before. I live almost in Shermans Dale. On Roseglen, off of 274, right by 34. I am sure you know where I mean. Well I'm sure it is a lot different climate down there than up here.

The humidity blows down here right now. Last time I went to the track I could barely trap 100mph. I think my plugs had a little to do with it too, I got new plugs now I just need some good dry air....

I'm hoping to get up there this year. Probably June or July, I hope the car runs better up there than down here. I'm also hoping to go visit a friend in Ft. Worth, TX. I plan on hitting a track in that area as well. With the mods I have I'm sure it can do better than 13.81 @ 103mph. I want to know if its just Florida.

Yeah you should be. I would love to get a custom tune but 1. I don't know anyone who could and 2. I don't have a wideband so we couldn't mess with fuel safely.

Thanks! That ranger was nasty. Sucks he lost and wrecked it. They said he would be ready within a week for points, so it wasn't nothing major, luckily. It could have been much worse.
