New Member! Pics after my first detail

Hey all. I've been on the boards two whole days now, and some people were asking for pictures, so here they are. Sorry, I don't have better ones, bad camera and I was being rushed because we were heading to dinner. I'll have more soon.

Yea, maybe he has the same problem CPRaider had. The car got wrecked, and the dealer ordered an 08 headlight to replace it. Maybe the dealer wrecked the front right and ordered the wrong one.

I haven't decided yet. I probably won't get too carried away until it's paid off, but I'm sure the mod bug will hit soon, very soon.

I am trying to find somebody with a cargo net that they aren't using. Mine didn't have one, and I could really use one to keep my stuff from sliding around.
I also only got one key fob, so if anybody has an extra that they aren't using, I'll buy it.

Do they make a gauge pod that lets you mount two 2-1/16" gauges behind the steering wheel? I though I saw a picture of it....

I'm actually thinking about painting it black. The whole engine needs some cleaning, lots of oxidation. I shot it with some engine bright just to try and clean what I could, but my bottle of Simple Green was empty, not sure how that happened, I've always got at least one bottle laying around.

I'm not positive, but I think it's just the camera angle. They carfax on this car had 25 hits on it I think, but not one was negative, they were all oil changes, tires replaced, brakes replaced, rotors turned, that sort of stuff. Doesn't look like it's ever been wrecked. All the gaps are perfect between panels.

Believe me, I'm trying. My old Grand Am was black, so this is nothing compared to that dirt magnet.

I hit it with Meg's NXT wax yesterday, and today it poured rain and I drove through it. Came back out after work and not a spot on the car. I never would have gotten away with that with the Pontiac.

Somebody else asked me that the other day at work. I'm honestly not sure, I'll have to see if they have a logo or a gm number on them when I pull the wheels to paint the calipers. It does seem to sit low, but I just assumed that all SS/SC were like that. It def rides hard and tight.

Son of a bitch you are right. I'm not really sure why they would have replaced one of the headlights, but apparently they did. Makes me wonder...kinda pisses me off.

Oh well, anybody know if I'm able to just remove the round orange reflector behind the blinker bulb? It already has an amber bulb in it. I know how to get the headlights apart, just want to be sure that I can remove that part and it should look like the other one???

The headlight was probably replaced due to condensation, and they ordered the wrong thing. It happens. I have replaced them under warranty for water in the lens.

You are correct sir. Had the wheels off the other day for a roto and to paint the brake calipers, wiped away the dirt, and saw the Sportline logo and part number. So I guess that confirms it, my car is already lowered. At least whoever owned this previously had good taste, Eibach springs and a B&M sts.

Makes me wonder what else I'll find. Why couldn't it have a stage kit and maybe a larger HE, or even a CAI? Oh well, more money for me to spend
