Well, I always wanted a 1969 Camaro RSSS but I know I can't afford one. I never thought I would be a owner of a Sy because of how limited they are. More limited then even most muscle cars. Right now is a good time to buy a Sy or Ty because of the Econmy. Seems most of the trucks are going for less then they did a few years back. I think that will change though once things get back on track. Blue book value is amazing on these trucks. Lower mile trucks in good cond. are values over 15k.

I plan on keeping this forever and slowly finishing the project. I need bigger injectors, front mount IC, plugs/wires, need to weld a crack in the manifold, paint job, tint windows, get rid of all the unneeded stuff in the engine bay such as heater hoses and plug what I don't use, oil pressure gauge, water temp gauge, and another tune. She puts down over 400hp right now.

why would you want to rock slicks when you have a sick awd setup? rock the sleeper-ware as long as possible

dude ive wanted a sy for the past 5 years. And as for ghost flames their a big misunderstanding. Ghost flames are not a style of flame, their are when you add pearl lets say black cuz your truck is black and you can only see them from an angle i 'm a painter for a liveing

that's not a stock snail is it?

IDK where you would get the idea that it would be a stock snail, and they weren't slow stock either.

BTW I used to live near Rhinelander.

Both the Syclone and Typhoon (SyTy) trucks featured a Mitsubishi TD06-17C 8 cm˛ turbocharger and Garrett water/air intercooler attached to a 4.3 L LB4 V6 engine with unique pistons, main caps, head gaskets, intake manifolds, fuel system, exhaust manifolds, and a 48mm twin bore throttle body from the 5.7 L GM Small-Block engine. All SyTy's had a 700R4 (4L60) 4-speed automatic transmission. A Borg Warner all wheel drive 1372/4472 transfer case split torque with 35% forward and 65% to the rear wheels. Both trucks featured sport modifications to the standard suspensions. The Syclone was the first production truck to receive a 4 wheel anti-lock braking system. Output was 280 hp (209 kW) and 360 ft.lbf (488 Nm). The Syclone, when new, was capable of accelerating from 0-60 mph in 4.6 seconds and could do a quarter-mile run in 13.4 seconds at 98 mph (153 km/h)

I have owned it since April. There are a few Sys out there for sale right now. I was not looking for something mint and in stock form. Those bring top dollar. If your looking for a project with some mods already and want a drag/street truck that is the way to go. If your a collector and want to store it away, get a oringal low mile truck. Just my .02
