Include Ions in COTM??

Well i think since Ions use the same platform as the cobalts that they should be included in the Car of the Month competition.

What do you guys think?

::ADDED::

Reasons why.

Same platform
Same engines

Only a different look.

G5's are included because they are the "sister" and have a very similar look and same engines. However they do not have the LSJ like the Red Line does.

Its only fair IMO.

my thoughts exactly. while i have nothing against g5's/ions, it really is cobaltss.net. and while everyone is welcome on here, i believe that things such as the COTM should be held for cobalts only

i like the redlines, but no. its a cobalt forum, all cars and ownres are welcome, but a cobalt site's COTM, should be a cobalt. next do we open the door to all fwd 4 cylinders, then all 4 cylinders, then just cars in general?

I think letting the G5's run was one thing.......at least they share the same front facia's, headlights, doors, hoods, roofs, quarter panels, etc etc.

But an Ion, at least on the exterior, is much different than a Cobalt. I have nothing against Ions, they're great cars, but I say leave the COTM to Cobalts and G5's.
