you donated your car to charity.... i dont necessarily think they consider an individual "charity". when they get your car they sell it and give that money to organizations. Not some car trading service. sorry to burst ur bubble

ya... imagine wht would happen if cars were actually donated like tht... where you could just go somewhere and pick up a car for free lol.

In fact, many or most of the donated cars wind up at the junkyard. The organization gets the money; they aren't interested in the car.

Can you imagine the liability issues if, say, the American Cancer Society was giving the donated cars to less-fortunate people, who then killed a family of four because the brakes were crappy?

I live in the state of Connecticut &link removed here has a program to get disabled people transportation. Try those guys out! Good Luck! I hope you get a Sweet ride.
