Hey all.... I was just gonna let you know that there is a j-body meet up here in Charlotte on Feb. 18th... I'm gonna be there just to show off and get to know some of the people... if any of y'all are interested in coming feel free to!

 

I gotta check my work schedule for this month again. I only look at this week, but if I'm off I'll definatly make an attempt to go down there.

 

What time and where? There is a good chance I will swing by.

 

It's gonna be at Concord Mills Mall at around 1:00PM on the 18th...

 

I will probably swing by if my car is freed up.

Heheh... if y'all guys show it'll be pretty sweet... all the old Cavaliers and Sunfires.... then all the new Cobalts...

Ya know what I'm thinkin would be really cool? If all the Cobalts could meet up somewhere close to the mall then we can all cruise in and make an entrance together.
There's another shopping center with a Toys R Us and some other crap right across the street from the mall... we could do a little rendezvous there at about 1:00 then head across to the mall.

What y'all think?

We could meet at the Sears Auto service center behind the mall off of Rennaissance Parkway. Rennaissance Parkway is the street that runs behind the mall. The Sears Auto place is back near the movie Theatre. It will take us ~2 hrs to get to Concord Mills. If we met there a little before 11:00 that should give us enough time. I think I saw your car about a month ago at the Wendys in Apex off of HWY. 64. Is that the store you manage at? By the way, I've got a black ss/sc so it should be easy to spot me on Saturday.

 

Sears Auto works for me and yes that is the Wendy's I work at off of 64 in Apex.

 

Just a bump.... Saturday at 1:00PM... Cobalts meeting at Toys 'R' Us across the street from Concord Mills Mall... then joining up with the J-body crowd. If anyone wants my cell number for directions or anything... PM me.

 

im thinking about coming now...my stuff wont be in before saturday (aka intense kit, motor mount, springs) but i might come anyway...how many cars are supposed to be at this thing? how many 'balts...how many j's?

There will probably be 10+ J-bodies... it's their local "tuners" club and they've said Cobalts are welcome... so I figured a little meet 'n' greet... get to know some of the local GM tuners... etc... etc... etc...

well if i come ill be coming from burlington...whos doin a caravan down there? i know ncsu wolf is coming from raleigh? and i see you guys talking are from durham...we definately need a meet up spot to either gather people along the way or just to meet up to ride down

 

I'll be comming from W-S, i live there now. But my girlfriend lives in charlotte so I may be there friday. So basicly all I know is i'll be at toys-r-us at 1! hahaha
